Sanur Beach

Sanur is one of Bali's biggest traditional villages but it's also one of the most established tourist areas. Fine hotels, restaurants and modern entertainment venues compliment traditional village activities like drama and dance, so it's a good place to enjoy the delights of a tropical island and gain a real appreciation of Balinese culture and local life.

The beach in sanur is very beautiful accompany with your friends you can hang out enjoying sunbathe on the soft sand beach. You also can enjoying the watersports in there.

Nightlife in Sanur is pretty relaxed. It starts and finishes earlier than in Kuta. Most restaurants fill up early in the evening and apart from a few bars and the disco, generally wind up around midnight.

Lake Toba - North Sumatra

Danau Toba or Lake Toba is the largest lake in South East Asia and also one of the most spectacular, surrounded by tall mountains and with the large island of Samosir in the middle it is set in the caldera of a giant volcano and it's the largest lake of South East Asia. If you want to get there you can pass from Brastagi in the Karo highlands or pematang siantar.

If we descend from the mountain we see the lake glittering in all its beauty. The Dutch writer Rudy Kousbroek even called Lake Toba, 'the most beautiful place on earth'. Most visitors stay on the peninsula of Tuk Tuk on Samosir, named after the linguist Herman Neubronner van der Tuuk. In general people stay several days on Samosir to discover the island, to visit traditional Batak villages, to swim in the lake and go to the hot springs in Pangururan.

The climate is pleasant and the setting is cool as well. This makes Lake Toba a favourite get away for people living in less-than-appealing city of Medan. Medan is less than 200 km away and many buses make the trip every day.

The unique thing from Lake Toba is about a small lake within the lake itself. The lake so called Danau Sidohoni [Lake Sidohoni] and situated in Pulau Samosir [Samosir island]. And Pulau Samosir itself is connected to Sumatra mainland by a bridge named Jembatan Diponggol, situated at Pangururan.

The main concentration for tourists [for spots and accommodation] are on Tuk Tuk and Ambarita. Tuk Tuk is about the old cemetery of the King Sidabutar, stone chairs and Ambarita is place to stay whenever you find Tuk Tuk quite hectic.

The enroute from Medan as the capital city of north Sumatra as follows: Medan, Pematangsiantar, Parapat and Lake Toba. Take a ferry to visit Pulau Samosir, takes about 30 minutes.

In Whale Island the beautiful place is in its underwater landscape, Vietnam starts to be a diving destination, and the diversities of coral as well as the other components of the submarine fauna, like nudibranches, contribute to the reputation of the place.

PADI instructors are waiting for you for initiations or courses or for diving on Hon Trau Nam, Hon Kho Trang, Hon Tai and in the pass of Cua Be with its angels fishes of more than 40cm, its sting rays other leopard rays etc...

Some reefs are accessible only with palms, masks and tubas. These sites permit to some beginners to familiarize themselves with the submarine motricity in all security for themselves and for flora and the fauna that they will be able to admire.

Hon Trau Nam or Three Kings
It is the most beautiful site. But only for experienced divers. Yellow, purple or white Gorgons, labyrinths and caves, about thirty sea slugs species. You may meet sting rays, manta rays and even whale sharks.

Hon Tai or Ear Island

Dive for both experienced and beginners over a coral plateau where divers can meet Nurse or white tip sharks. Look on the coral tables, black red frogfishes are laying on as well as big sized sea slugs. This site is one of the most visited.

Napoleon Rock
This site is sheltered from bad weather conditions. Coral gardens are separated from each other by sandy bottom areas which allow discovery diving as well as all courses training. And you could be distracted by a napoleon wrasse school.
